Heartland International English School is closely monitoring the developments in the international outbreak of H1N1 flu (Human Swine Flue) virus. All students and staff are reminded to follow routine influenza precautions of covering your cough and washing your hands with soap and water. In the absence of soap and water a hand sanitizer is an alternative.
Students traveling to Canada should exercise caution, but the World Health Organization (WHO) advises no restriction of regular travel. http://www.who.int/en/ The province of Manitoba and local health authorities are taking all precautions to restrict the spread of the virus and monitor any developments.
